What is a Data Vault?
It is a specifically built off-site data storage facility where data back-ups are stored. There are three typical categories of data vaults:
- Underground vaults, which are often converted defunct cold war military or communications facilities, or even disused mines.
- Free-standing dedicated vaults
- Insulated chamber sharing facilities, which are often within existing record center buildings.
ALLMOVE has a free-standing dedicated vault inside our record centre.
How much is it going to cost?

Will my data media be safe?
Yes, it will because security and confidentiality is our top priority. Our record centre is equipped with a 24-hour security system, internal monitoring beams, security cameras and sprinkler systems. Our vault located inside the record centre is also equipped with its own individual security system. Access to your media is available only to individuals that you designate through written notice.

How do I get my back up tapes when I need them?
We come to you. ALLMOVE offers full rotation deliveries of media to clients on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. If there is a disaster, they are readily available whenever you need them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How do you store my data/media?
Media is stored in one of two of ways within our vault. It can be slotted individually or stored within secure plastic containers. Specialized transport cases are used for the daily, weekly, or monthly transportation of data/media from the vault to a client.
